Why do businesses partner with university clubs?

This may leave you wondering, 'Why would any business spend its time and energy partnering with a university club?'  

Here are two reasons a business may want to partner with a university organization.

The first is an opportunity for brand visibility. The businesses' logos will be put up on signs around the university, and thousands of students will become familiar with these logos. This is an excellent opportunity for a company to gain new customers or users.

The second, for early-stage businesses, is reputational leverage. In the early stages, companies need help to gain consumers' trust. If a business partners with a reputed organization (such as the Entrepreneurship cell of a top university), customers attribute some of the trust they have in that organization to the business. Often, they think that if that organization could trust you, we can, too.
